1. pit entry
Deviating from the usual regulations, in Okayama it does matter how you enter the pits.
You have to enter the pits driving between the yellow pit entry lines - latest position: at the white line which the Ferrari is crossing in the picture (see green arrow / left part of picture).
Same as "leaving the track" regulation in qualifying, at least one front tire has to stay within the yellow lines or stay in contact with the yellow line (right part of picture).
In general the curbs in Okayama are colored in red and white.
Some curbs consist of a second row of red curbs additionally. These red curbs are also "curbs" and so they may be used for driving.
noch ein grosses sorry @ Rene Wagner
hat im berührt beim überhol verzug...war komplett mein fehler.. sorry dafur :-(
Really enjoyed the race, except for one thing...
Wanted to try an undercut to get past Lukas, because, I could not say that I was held up, but I thought that could be my only chance, as Andre seemed to thought the same.
Pitstop done. Accellerated and bam. Hit the saftey car. Yeah, it was the last pit bevor the exit, but I swear the SC was not there. Visually. It just poped up, when I was 1 or 2 meters away.
I didn't see anything happen in the replay, but I saw my car in the stream.
Watched my flying hood... requested pitstop again for repair, but the car status didn't show a red blinking part and I could still control the car.
After this, i could't care less about the lost 9th place in the last lap.
I'm just happy that I didn't need an extra repair stop.
alles OK - mach Dir mal keine Sorgen, ich hatte in dem Rennen noch viel größere Problem (1.79 groß und heißt René Wagner) ^^
yeah, what can I say, only my Qualitime was really outstanding for me and probably the best so far in the GT-Pro! the race itself started a bit difficult at the start, lost some places but the worst part was the fact that I did not really get warm with the car here. When I tried to adjust my stop a bit, I lost the car in T1 and crashed into the wall, fortunately the car was still mobile and I was able to get into the pits! Even if my form was not available today, I'm glad I made it to the finish at least ^^
I hope the 2nd run is a little better for me!
Congratulations to the podium and to all who could finish their race
See you on the track ^^

Race: Fine first lap and kept my P4. Tried my best to keep in touch with the black hawk guys. And the same time look a bit after my tires. After around 20 laps pace felt really strong, so thougt a bit about pitting early go get clean air. But again this could turn into frustration by being stuck in traffic. So decided not to. Had good traction out of corner to back straight and could brake a bit later than Kevin. But could not really get close enough to do anything. Had a strong feeling I would lose out to black hawk in pit stop. So when I came out just after Mike I thougt for moment that a win could be possible. Mike's car did not look good to drive on worn tires, so pushed hard to get close. With 2 laps to go I had a good run on back straight and got by. And then I could see Kevin up the road. But were was Alex. Look on that standing bar in button screen and could see nr 1 half a lap ahead. Thougt game were fucking up or something. Either way my fuel were critical. Only calculated with 50 laps. So not enough fuel for my inlap after finish line. Don't hope penalty is to harsh
Conclusion: really happy with this result. Knew pace would be good, but newer really now for sure before greenflag. Felt good to be fighting with the black hawk gang. Really surprised to see Alex finish without pit stop. Top job.
Looking forward to next race.
