Hi guys, I could not join the Monday training due to work travels. Just curious on what lap times you were doing.
I can do 8:50 times if I don't have traffic, but I have a feeling some here will do 8:30 or even quicker

I have seen 8:50 on the leader board
For 8:50, did you use the highest gear ratio?

No, seems not to go any faster on the straights with the highest gearing. I let it reach the limiter down to Tiergarten. I think that's the only place I will hit it. Possibly it can be good if you have a good draft and can pass. But then I think I loose to much on the rest of the track instead.
Well, keeping it on track will possibly be enough to be quick. One mistake and you are more or less out.

Edit:Tried the leaderboard challange
It feels a bit slipprier that an offnet race. But it might be the time of day is different.

A great ending to a series
I was a bit worried as I had not put too many laps on the NS with the M1. I took the option to play it safe and go for wing 2 and not not that high gearing.
I realized during the race that I was missing out on the straights, but I could keep the distance on the twisty bits. So my hope was to drive safe and let others do the mistakes . It paid off quite well as I could not touch the top 4 in speed, but as expected there were some accidents and run offs that I could capitalize on.

In the first race I was on Saschas back at the end and it was photo finish, but he was just 5 hundreds of a second ahead of me in the end.
In the second race we were fighting together with Ollie who also did some mistakes on the last lap, this time I was 6 hundreds away from a podium

So close but not close enough, but I still had good fun.
Doing a quick calculation I think I ended 4th in the series
It's been a great time here and I will sign up for the next series in a hart beat.
I will try to get some more good guys to join also.

Zu meinem Rennen kann ich heute aus zeitgründen noch nichts schreiben, aber vorab ein kleiner Organisatorischer Hinweis zu den Sichtungen:

Wir werden logischerweise keine volle erste Runde sichten, sondern nur bis zum Streckenabschnitt Aremberg (also die Kurve vor der Fuchsröhre).
Sollte jemand danach einen Unfall gehabt haben, der einer Sichtung bedarf, muss dementsprechend auch schon in Rennrunde 1 Protest eingelegt werden.

Zu meinen beiden - sehr schönen - Rennen schreibe ich hoffentlich später noch was.
